A silent auction of prints from the Known exhibition of celebrity portraits, which
featured as part of the DFB07 Main Program at the Clunes Town Hall, will take
place at David Johns Gallery, 15A Railway Place Fairfield [Mel ref 30 K 11 - enter via Gillies St] on Saturday August 4th at 2.00pm.
You can view the prints at
David Johns Gallery and submit a bid by email.
There are some fantastic portraits on offer. Here is a chance to add one of
these great works, framed and ready to hang, by some of our best photographers.
Minimum bid is $250.00.. If you missed Known at Clunes, here is a second chance
to see the show and maybe even purchase one of the works. There will also be a
range of DFB07 merchandise on sale. Bring along your cheque book or credit card
and help dfb09 get off to a flying start!
Write a Haiku
The haiku is an ancient Japanese verse form with strict compositional rules. The haiku must be 17 syllables long. It must consist of three lines. The first line will have 5 syllables, the second line 7 syllables and the third line 5 syllables.
Send us your haiku. If it is about photography and/or funny you stand an excellent chance of heading up an edition of the free radical notes
